Research-supported interventions will be provided. Interventions may involve you, your child, your child’s teacher, and other important individuals in your child’s life. Possible interventions include:

  • Behavioral interventions for behavior problems including autism, ADHD, and other developmental concerns.
    • Parenting skills training
    • Individual Therapy
    • School consultation
    • Social skills groups
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and/or depression
  • For some problems, your child may be referred to other professionals including
    • Physicians for medication consultation
    • Speech language pathologists for communication difficulties
    • Occupational and/or physical
  • Your child’s assessment will include the evaluation of strengths as well as needs.
  • You will be provided with a written report and an opportunity for in-person feedback.
  • Recommendations may include treatment that may be provided in this office or referral to other typesof professionals in the community if appropriate.
  • Evidence-based assessment techniques will be used including standardized, norm-referenced measures when available.
